Have we met yet? I’m the one obsessed with natural skin care!
We’ve seen a lot of new faces come in recently so I thought it might be time to re-introduce myself- I’m Rebecca! But you might know me better by the brightly coloured Made4Baby bottles you keep next to the bath.
If you’re here, it means one thing: you believe in giving your babies the best (or in my case my now GROWN babies 👶👶).
And that’s exactly why we started Made4Baby natural skincare products.
I had always loved cosmetics and skincare, and when I moved to Paris with James to work in the Environmental Health Department, I was amazed at how much I had been putting on my skin without thinking about it (put your hand up if you can relate!).
The birth of our first baby sealed the deal. No more, we said!
No more ingredients we couldn’t pronounce.
No more simply accepting whatever was on the supermarket shelves.
No more wondering what was going into our baby without our knowing.
So we decided to make it ourselves! The “4” stands for the 4 things we decided would NEVER go into our products:
- No harsh detergents (which create lather)
- No petrochemicals (baby mineral oil is derived from crude oil)
- No artificial fragrances (parfum can have hundreds of ingredients)
- No parabens (a controversial preservative which we have not included)
14 years later, I am STILL obsessed with natural skincare and giving parents an alternative that is fun, safe and bath-time approved.
